This project was to create a café on the ground floor of the building while the second floor served as a living space for the owners. With this design I wanted to integrate the cultures of the clients. For the café I chose to integrate the clients ethiopian culture and have the theme stay true to that while it served the best Ethiopian delicacies. The café will wow their guests with a neutral colour pallet but includes bright accent colours from their flags to add a pop of colour. Whereas the second floor living space I chose to integrate both clients cultures (Ethiopian and Italian) into their new Canadian Identity.
